Welcome friend!

I'm so glad you're here! I pray you see all the beauty and fruitfulness that God is working in your life.

GO OUT AND BE FRUITFUL

Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the Vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.                                                                                                               -John15:4

IN THE PRESS

In a society and culture that shies away from dealing with painful emotions and grief, Andrea Bear's debut novel, The Grieving Daughters' Club, offers a refreshing insight into how many women from varying backgrounds are able to come together and share their suffering in an authentic and candid manner.

Andrea Bear’s debut novel, The Grieving Daughters' Club, gathers an eclectic group of characters dealing with challenging relationships, evolving friendships, and the struggle of grief. We come to know Frankie, Olivia, Scarlet and the other members of the club as they discover the power of forgiveness and found community. It is an engaging tale of coming to terms with grief, an emotion that is often shunned by society in our desire to avoid pain and loss. The Grieving Daughters' Club will make you appreciate the women in your life that have shown up in the difficult hours.

Andrea Bear's novel, The Grieving Daughters' Club, explores grief through a fictional but personal level via her character, Frankie, a woman whose mother passed away. Through Frankie's journey, the reader experiences the lows of loss countered by surprising interactions in an unlikely book discussion group that results in new friendships with heartwarming perspectives on life and loss.

The Grieving Daughters' Club is a heartwarming story of love, friendship, loss, and personal transformation. Andrea Bear dives deep into the themes of mothers, daughters, and feminine friendship in a way that is sure to inspire you.

As a cradle Catholic, Andrea often took her faith for granted because it was "just there." But in 2018, when her mom died of brain cancer, and her father's progression of muscular dystrophy advanced, she learned that sometimes God places these Crosses in our path, not as punishment, but to get our full attention.

And that led her to ask important questions:

Do we trust God? Is our faith just an idea? Is faith about trusting only when life is easy or also when the path is hard?

Much of her testimony centers around two hard paths:

Grief and people-pleasing. Ironically, these two areas have more in common than expected. Through these Crosses, God helped Andrea become less selfish and more charitable. And most importantly, she discovered that when we lean on God, no matter how hard life is, He always produces good fruit. Andrea hopes to share this with you and shares much of this in her writing and speaking.

About Andrea:  An author of both fiction and non-fiction books, she shares about the joys and sorrows of the Christian life and how both can help us grow closer to God. She is a contributing writer to CatholicMom.com, Women in the New Evangelization (WINE) and other Catholic forums. Former cohost of the Catholic Grief podcast Mourning Glory Podcast, she now hosts the Be Fruitful Podcast, a show dedicated to sharing how God bears beautiful fruits in our life. She has also been featured on Relevant Radio and many Catholic podcasts and sites.

"I pray that through Jesus, my stories, writings, and words become fruitful in your life,  because God is so good and He wants to bear good fruit in you too!"

We were captivated by Andrea's honest emotions, and personal experience of loss. Her tone and voice pulled the audience in to "feel" in the moment. I was so impressed with her segue-way of captivating the audience.
